Uzbekistan exports 1.2m tonnes of fruits and vegetables in 9m

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-September 2022, Uzbekistan exported 1.2 million tons of fruits and vegetables for a total amount of about US$760.2 million, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

This figure increased by 169,000 tons compared to the corresponding period last year.

The volume of exports of fruits and vegetables for 9 months of 2022:

fruits and berries – 257,000 tons

dried fruits and berries – 30,200 tons

vegetables – 657,000 tons

onion – 171,000 tons

cabbage – 131,000 tons

tomatoes – 60,000 tons

grapes – 126,000 tons

raisins – 53,400 tons

peanuts – 13,400 tons

watermelon-melon – 129,200 tons
