Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan held talks with a delegation from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), which is visiting the country on a working mission.
During the meeting, the sides reviewed ongoing reforms in the agricultural sector, the current investment climate, and prospects for expanding international cooperation in agriculture. The discussions focused on opportunities to attract additional resources and introduce modern approaches to agricultural production.
Particular attention was given to the project “Effective Solutions for Agribusiness: High Income, Investment, and Sustainability,” which is considered an important instrument for introducing advanced international experience into agricultural development and improving sector efficiency.
It was noted that the report prepared following the IFAD mission’s visit will be submitted for consideration to the Fund’s Executive Board.
