Uzbekistan, Eksim Holding Explore Mining Cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology held talks with representatives of Türkiye’s Eksim Holding to discuss prospects for investment cooperation.

At the beginning of the meeting, the company presented its activities, ongoing projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors, and its international experience.

Eksim Holding expressed interest in investment opportunities in Uzbekistan’s mining sector and in developing long-term cooperation.

During the talks, the Uzbek side presented information on the country’s investment legislation, fiscal policy in the mining and geology sector in line with international practice, and existing mechanisms for allocating geological sites to subsoil users on a transparent basis.

The sides discussed prospects for expanding cooperation and further developing collaboration in the mining industry and geological exploration.
