Uzbekistan Driver Caught Transporting 28 Children in Damas
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Road Traffic Safety Service officers detected a gross violation of minor transportation rules after stopping a Damas vehicle that was carrying 28 children simultaneously during preventive inspection activities.
According to the Road Traffic Safety Service, overloading the vehicle posed a real threat to the lives and health of the passengers. The agency emphasized that such violations could lead to tragic consequences and are unacceptable when organizing child transportation.
In connection with the identified incident, the Road Traffic Safety Service called on heads of preschool educational organizations and drivers to strictly comply with established safety requirements and not put pupils at risk.
The agency also appealed to parents to monitor closely how their children's transportation is organized. Citizens were urged not to consent to such trips and to report cases if vehicle overloading or other violations are detected.
The Road Traffic Safety Service stressed that child safety must remain an absolute priority in the organization of any transport.
