Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan denied information about an outbreak of cholera in the country.

Nurmat Atabekov, Deputy Head of the Service for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Protection, denied information about an outbreak of cholera in Uzbekistan during a briefing.

He stated that the disease was not recorded on the territory of Uzbekistan.
