Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Culture Days in Russia will take place at the National Centre Russia in March 2027.

The announcement was made by Natalia Virtuozova, director general of the centre, during a meeting with Firdavs Abdukhalikov, director of the Centre of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan.

“We, the National Centre Russia, invite you to hold Uzbekistan Culture Days at our venues next year, in March,” Virtuozova said. She added that all the necessary facilities would be provided for the events.

Following the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding.

Abdukhalikov also chairs the board of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan (WOSCU).

Reciprocal Culture Days of Russia and Uzbekistan are planned for 2027.

The National Centre Russia announced on 25 August that the events would be held to mark the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
