Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On measures on ordering licensing of pharmaceutical and medical activity” on 7 April 2010.

In line with the document, now legal entities and individuals can receive license for carrying out activity in pharmaceutical and medical market for five years.

Earlier, legal entities and individuals could receive license for carrying out pharmaceutical and medical activity without any term limits.

The resolution entrusted the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan to approve new regulation on licensing pharmaceutical activity in a month term.
