Uzbekistan can launch capacities on production of spare parts for Hyundai cars

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan can launch capacities on production of spare parts for Hyundai vehicles. This was announced by the chairman of Evergreen Motor Group Kim Chang Kyong during the Uzbek-Korean forum in Tashkent on 7 March.

According to him, Uzbekistan is an important trading partner of South Korea in Central Asia.

Kim Chang Kyong said that within the framework of the forum Uzbekistan and South Korea discussed prospects for cooperation in the assembly of spare parts for Hyundai cars and the processing of natural resources.

Earlier it was reported that Evergreen Motors plans to establish mass production of Hyundai cars in Uzbekistan. The volume of direct investments to the project will exceed US$200 million. The project envisages production of commercial vehicles.
