Uzbekistan and Tajikistan Discuss Electricity and Gas Supplies for Autumn-Winter Period

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy and Water Resources, Daler Jum’a, held talks with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Jurabek Mirzamahmudov.

The discussions covered a wide range of issues related to deepening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

Particular attention was given to coordinating electricity exports and imports for the 2025–2026 autumn-winter period, as well as prospects for organizing the supply of Uzbek natural gas to Tajikistan during the same period.
