Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 7 May 2023 Tashkent hosted a new round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State of Qatar.
The delegations were headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev and State Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
They discussed proposals for further intensification of Uzbekistan - Qatar cooperation in the fields of politics, diplomacy, trade, economy, transport, energy, science, and culture.
The sides exchanged views on international and regional agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan.
