Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan hold political consultations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan were held in Tashkent on 29 August 2018.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the delegation of Kazakhstan was headed by Deputy Minister Galymzhan Koishybayev.

The current state and priorities for development of bilateral cooperation, in particular on such topical areas as political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian cooperation were discussed in the conversation.

Delegations also considered issues of cooperation within multilateral organizations, exchanged views on international and regional issues.

During the consultations, the sides stressed the commitment of the sides to deepening trade and economic relations, development of interregional cooperation and industrial cooperation, as well as the need to give impetus to close interaction in the transport and communication field.
