Uzbekistan and Endeavour Mining Discuss New Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 15 June, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, met with Eduardo Formoso Etchart, Vice President for Investments at the British mining company Endeavour Mining.

Endeavour Mining is a major international company specializing in mineral extraction and has implemented large-scale gold mining projects in West African countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for joint projects aimed at developing prospective mineral deposits in Uzbekistan. Particular attention was paid to the introduction of modern mineral processing technologies.

The participants also exchanged views on further steps to launch cooperation and mechanisms for its practical implementation.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue systematic engagement, jointly work on the technical and financial aspects of future projects, and accelerate progress toward the next stages of implementation.
