Uzbekistan and China Strengthen Strategic Partnership
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 April, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with Liu Bin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
The sides emphasized that regular and trust-based dialogue between the leaders of the two countries remains a key factor in the dynamic development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China.
During the talks, the results of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries were positively assessed, along with the outcomes of the latest meeting of the Subcommittee on Security Cooperation under the Uzbekistan–China Intergovernmental Committee on Cooperation.
It was noted that the reached agreements create additional conditions for further strengthening both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including the development of collaboration in political, economic, and humanitarian areas.
