Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Airways has adjusted several flight routes from Uzbekistan due to temporary operational restrictions imposed at Russian airports. The affected services include flights connecting Termez, Moscow, and Andijan, as well as routes between Tashkent and Sochi.

Flight HY9609 operating from Termez to Moscow (Vnukovo) was diverted to an alternate airport in Saint Petersburg. As a result, delays are expected for the return flight HY9622 from Moscow (Vnukovo) to Andijan, as well as the subsequent flight HY9621 from Andijan to Moscow (Vnukovo).

Additional route adjustments were made in response to temporary restrictions at Sochi airport. On 3 September 2026, flight HY685 from Tashkent to Sochi and flight HY686 from Sochi to Tashkent were operated via a rerouted path through Aktau.

Uzbekistan Airways stated that decisions to alter flight paths are being made based on the evolving situational environment to ensure flight safety. The carrier added that further updates regarding its flight schedules will be announced as information becomes available.

Temporary restrictions at Russian airports have previously disrupted other services from Uzbekistan. An Uzbekistan Airways aircraft operating flight HY603 from Tashkent to Moscow was previously forced to turn back and return to its airport of departure.

Separately, an aircraft operated by Centrum Air on flight C6417 from Urgench to Moscow was diverted to an alternate airport in Kazan. Passengers are advised to consider potential schedule changes when planning travel and to monitor official airline communications for updated flight statuses.
