Uzbek police detain 3.241 kg heroin

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek police officers in Tashkent city detained three citizens of Uzbekistan, who was attempting to sell 3 kg of heroin.

The drug dealers were from Tashkent, Khorezm and Surkhandarya regions and there were detained during Cherniy Mak (Black Poppy) operation.

Uzbek police added that some more drugs were found at the house of one detainee. Total volume of seized drugs comprised 3.241 kg.

The criminal case was opened and investigation is underway.
