Uzbek FM meets with US Under Secretary of State

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 28 October 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Thomas Shannon, who arrived in Uzbekistan on a visit.

During the meeting the sides discussed state and prospects of bilateral relations in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

The parties also exchanged views on cooperation in the “C5+1” format, some issues of international and regional agenda.

The Ambassador of the USA Pamela Leora Spratlen attended the meeting.
