Uzbek boxers win four medals of Asian Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan national team won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the Asian Championship, which was held in Jordan.

In the weight category of 81 kg Oybek Mamazulunov won a gold medal of the Asian Championship.

During the tournament, he defeated Jagrup Singh of India, Sandagsuren Erdenebayar of Mongolia and Anavat Thongkrathok of Thailand.

In the final bout, he defeated Adilet Niyazimbetov of Kazakhstan and became the Asian Champion.

Izzatulla Ergashev (over 91 kg) and Shahobiddin Zoirov (up to 52 kg) clinched silver medals of the continental tournament.

World Champion among juniors Mirzobek Hasanov won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 91 kg.
