UzAuto Motors to start producing Chevrolet Onix and Tracker cars in September 2022

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - UzAuto Motors plans to establish production of Chevrolet Onix and Tracker cars at the plant in Asaka in September 2022.

The company will allocate US$427.7 million for the implementation of this project. This is stated in the draft presidential decree on the investment program of Uzbekistan for 2022-2024, published by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.

The line is expected to have a capacity of 190,000 vehicles per year.
