Two gunmen shot dead in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek law enforcement bodies killed two armed men during the special operation, which took place near Kukcha mosque, near the city hospital No.1 in Tashkent at 18.30 on 29 August, Gorizont.uz reported quoting a source close to the Internal Affairs Ministry.

The report said during the raid, two armed men were revealed in one of flats of two-story house. The police offered to lay down arms in order to avoid bloodshed, but gangsters fired and tried to break through surrounding. After a short skirmish both gunmen were killed.

The report said killed gunmen were connected with grave crimes, committed in Tashkent city recently.
