Turkish investors ready to invest in tourism sector of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation headed by the chairman of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Development of Tourism Aziz Abdukhakimov held a number of meetings with representatives of Turkish companies to attract their investments into Uzbekistan to construct hotel complexes of world standards, as well as reconst and renovate existing hotels.

A meeting with the chairman of the Turkish Tourism Investors Association (TYD) Mr. Emrullah Akçakaya and a member of the TYD Board Mr. Erkunt Öner was held, during which issues of attracting investors to the tourism sector of Uzbekistan were discussed.

In particular, an agreement was reached on organizing a special presentation on investment projects for hotel and other tourist infrastructure in Samarkand and Bukhara regions, investment projects of Chirchik-Chimgan resort and recreation zone, to the members of the TYD.
