Turkey Grand National Assembly’s Speaker visits Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 September, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey Binali Yildirim visited Bukhara region.

Guests visited the Bakhouddin Naqshbandi memorial complex in Kagan district. A huge impression on the delegation of the Turkish parliament was made by the activity carried out in the country in honor of the memory of our great ancestors, the restoration and improvement of their graves and mausoleums.

Members of the delegation visited the branch of Naqshbandiya tariqati museum in Bukhara State Art-Architectural Museum-Reserve, talked with students of Mir Arab madrasah. The guests also visited the grave of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi’s mother Bibi Orifa.

An indelible impression was also made by acquaintance with the world-famous ensembles of Minorai Kalon, Masjidi Kalon and Mir Arab madrasah of the city of Bukhara. During the visit to Poyi Kalon complex, songs performed within the framework of the pre-concert preparation of Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra gave an uplifting mood not only to Turkish guests but also to all foreign tourists.

The guests also visited Bukhara carpet making enterprise, where they got acquainted with the work of craftsmen, who skillfully continue the traditions of national craftsmanship, as well as the products manufactured by them.
