Transfermarkt ranks France most valuable before World Cup 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Transfermarkt has published a ranking of the market values of national teams that will participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

According to the data, France tops the list with a total squad value of €1.48 billion. England ranks second with €1.31 billion, while Spain is third with €1.27 billion.

Germany follows in fourth place with €998 million, ahead of Portugal (€957 million), Brazil (€909 million), the Netherlands (€837 million), Argentina (€816 million), Norway (€601 million), and Türkiye (€536 million).

It is also noted that the combined transfer value of 40 players in the Uzbekistan national team called up for the May training camp is estimated at €78.73 million. With this figure, Uzbekistan ranks 35th among the teams participating in the upcoming World Cup.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place from 11 June to 19 July across stadiums in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For the first time in history, 48 national teams will participate in the tournament.

The opening match will be played on 11 June at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, where Mexico will face South Africa.

Uzbekistan will play its debut match on 18 June in Mexico City against Colombia.

In the second round on 23 June, the team will face Portugal in Houston, before concluding the group stage on 28 June with a match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Atlanta.
