Timur Kapadze May Take Charge of Indonesia’s National Football Team

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Former Uzbekistan national team coach Timur Kapadze is close to being appointed head coach of Indonesia’s national team.

According to sources, the specialist is already in the country, where he is holding final negotiations with the football federation.

Kapadze took charge of Uzbekistan’s national team in January 2025 and later joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach in October of the same year following the appointment of Fabio Cannavaro.
