Three cars collide on Tashkent-Nurafshan highway

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Three cars collided on the Tashkent-Nurafshan highway in Urta Chirchiq district of Tashkent region on the morning of 24 August, with a fire breaking out after the crash. No injuries were reported among those involved, according to the regional Road Safety Department.

The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on the ninth kilometer of the Tashkent-Nurafshan highway.

According to preliminary information, the driver of a Labo was making a U-turn at an authorized location when the vehicle collided with a Lacetti and a Tracker traveling in the same direction.

The collision caused a fire, which was extinguished by rescue workers who arrived at the scene.

Employees of the Urta Chirchiq district internal affairs authorities are conducting an investigation and establishing the circumstances of the accident.
