The volume of cross-border transfers reaches US$4.88 billion in January-October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of cross-border transfers to Uzbekistan in January-October 2020 made up US$4.88 billion, having decreased compared to the same period of the previous year by US$148 million or 3%.

According to the Central Bank, the volume of the funds, sent from Uzbekistan to abroad, reached US$934 million, which is more than in the same period last year by US$67 million, or 8%.

As a result, the positive balance on cross-border transfers was formed at the level of US$3.95 billion.
