Syrdarya region hosts sewers, designers contest

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Syrdarya region hosted a contest “National clothes and young designers”, UzA news agency reported.

The report said the jury assessed works of the eight sewers and designers, who demonstrated their skills at the contest. Within the contest, the exhibition of suits from national clothes was held, which demonstrated clothes of local designers and sewers.

According to the report Mutabar Andaeva won the main prize of the contest. The first place on sewing went to Shakhodat Mamurova.
