Syrdarya Region Discusses Logistics and Agricultural Projects with Chinese Companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Governor of Syrdarya region Erkinjon Turdimov held talks during his visit to China with executives of Xinjiang Trade and Logistics Group, Xinjiang Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Hualing Cattle Industry Group Co., Ltd..

During the meetings, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation in agricultural product logistics, livestock development, and the production of spare parts for combine harvesters.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of modern production and logistics infrastructure in Syrdarya region aimed at accessing Central Asian markets.

The discussions also covered opportunities for the efficient use of local raw materials and the region’s industrial potential, as well as the implementation of joint agro-industrial projects.

Following the negotiations, the parties expressed interest in further expanding cooperation in the identified areas.
