Suspected fraudster arrested

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – A women arrested in Tashkent for her fraudulent activities, the Uzbek Interior Ministry said.

On 31 March, a resident of Yakkasaray district of Tashkent took 350 million soums and 390 million soums from two citizens, promising to but apartments in new house in Tashkent.

However, the woman did not fulfill her promise and spend the money on her own needs.

The suspected fraudster was detained and investigation is underway.
