Spring season of Umrah-2014 completed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A last group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan returned to Tashkent on 5 May 2014, the press service of the Committee on religious affairs of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.

The committee said that the last group of 171 pilgrims from Uzbekistan, who performed Umrah pilgrimage, returned to Tashkent on 5 May 2014.

From 10 February to 5 May 2014, the working group helped pilgrims from Uzbekistan to carry out Umrah pilgrimage, the committee added.

Over 5,900 Uzbek pilgrims paid visit to Muslim relics during spring season of Umrah pilgrimage.
