SMS Banking Alerts in Uzbekistan Humo Cards Rise

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Uzbekistan, the cost of SMS notifications linked to Humo payment cards will increase starting May 2026, according to an announcement by content provider Octotelecom.

The company reported on April 9 that the price of a single incoming SMS sent from the short number 13131 will double from 84.2 som to 168.4 som. Mobile operators Mobiuz, Ucell, and Beeline have also confirmed the increase in the cost of the “HUMO SMS notification” service.

Octotelecom stated that the tariff revision is driven by rising operational costs, including maintenance of technical infrastructure, software development, system stability and security support, as well as increased expenses for energy resources and licensing fees.

Users are given the option to disable the SMS notification service by sending the text STOP to the short number 13131.

In addition, the cost of the “SMS notification 880” service provided by the Click payment organization will also increase to 168.40 som. This service is used for transaction alerts related to USSD-based payments and card operations linked to the platform.

According to the official Humo payment system website, one-time six-digit OTP codes are also delivered via the 13131 number. These messages are sent only when the mobile account linked to the card has a positive balance.

The delivery cost of OTP messages is determined by Octotelecom’s tariff policy.
