Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Six minor children who had been left without parental care have been returned to Uzbekistan from the Russian Federation, according to the press service of the Agency for Social Protection.

The official information states that the children were brought to Tashkent on April 21 and handed over to their families.

The agency noted that social support measures have been organized for the minors and their families. Monitoring of their situation is being carried out by local “Inson” social service centers at their place of residence.

It was also reported that, as part of interstate cooperation, five additional children were returned to Uzbekistan in March this year.
