Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on 26 October, during the Qatari leader’s working visit to Uzbekistan.
The two sides noted that regular high-level contacts and systematic joint efforts had strengthened bilateral ties and advanced strategic partnership between the countries.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation in trade and the economy, investment, social affairs and humanitarian matters.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sheikh Tamim also exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
