Saida Mirziyoyeva Discusses Investment Projects with US Partners

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Tashkent between the Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, and representatives of US financial institutions on the sidelines of an investment forum, focusing on expanding bilateral cooperation in the investment sphere.

The meeting was attended by President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States Export-Import Bank of the United States John Yovanovich and Chief Executive Officer of the US International Development Finance Corporation U.S. International Development Finance Corporation Ben Black.

The sides discussed issues related to deepening industrial and financial projects implemented with the participation of Uzbekistan and the United States.Particular attention was paid to the development of a joint investment platform aimed at expanding cooperation and supporting prospective initiatives.

It was also noted that foreign partners show interest in Uzbekistan not only in terms of economic cooperation but also in exploring the country’s historical and cultural heritage.
