Rustam Minnikhanov Visits Uzbekistan on Working Trip

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit on the evening of 19 April 2026.

He was welcomed at Tashkent International Airport by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy Jurabek Mirzamahmudov. During the visit, Minnikhanov is scheduled to take part in events of the international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia,” which is being held in Tashkent.

On 20 April, he is expected to participate in the exhibition’s business program and hold a series of official meetings. The itinerary also includes visits to industrial and infrastructure facilities.

The sixth international industrial exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” is taking place from 20 to 22 April 2026, in Tashkent with the support of relevant ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia. The event is aimed at developing trade and industrial cooperation in the region.

In 2026, the exhibition showcases developments in digital and production technologies, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, and energy.

The business program includes thematic sessions focused on industrial cooperation and the development of economic interaction in Central Asia.
