Rostekstroy JV launched in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- New Uzbek-Russian joint venture Rostekstroy was launched in Kavola village of Bukhara district. The company was set up in cooperation with Moscow-based Textile LLC.

“Last month, our production volumes made up 35,000 towels of various sizes. After reaching the full production capacity, this figure will increase three times,” one of the founders Rasuljon Kuryazov said.

The company currently employs 30 people, and this number will be increased to 100 by mid-summer, UzA reported.

According to Muhammadali Hayitbayev, chief technologist, up to 85% of the production will be exported.
