Prodimex starts to export sugar to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Russian company Prodimex started to export sugar to the market of Uzbekistan, the agency Abireg reported.

The company sent 50 wagons with products and ships new wagons of products every day to Uzbekistan, the agricultural holding informed.

Russian deliveries of sugar to this country have not been carried out for 26 years, due to customs complications. According to official statistics, the annual demand of Uzbekistan for sugar is about 700,000 tonnes.
