President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Nukus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is meeting with deputies of the Jokargy Kenes, representatives of the older generation and activists of Karakalpakstan. This was reported by the press secretary of the President of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov.

Taking into account the fact that the process of discussing amendments and additions to the Constitution is still ongoing, as well as based on the study of the opinions expressed by the residents of Karakalpakstan, the President outlined the need to maintain unchanged the current versions of Articles 70, 71, 72, 74, 75 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
