President of Uzbekistan Dismisses Several Senior Interior Ministry Officials

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree and an order relieving several senior officials within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of their duties.

Bekmurod Abdullaev, who previously served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Department of Public Security, has been dismissed from his position.

Additionally, Rustam Tursunov has been relieved of his duties as Head of the Department for the Execution of Sentences under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
