Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has dismissed the head of the Agency for Control of Narcotics and Firearms under the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

According to the presidential decree, Ravshan Mamatov has been relieved of his duties as director of the Agency for Control of Narcotics and Firearms.

Ravshan Mamatov had been leading the National Center for Narcotics Control (NCNC) since August 2024. In July 2025, the NCNC was reorganized into the Agency for Control of Narcotics and Firearms, and Mamatov continued to head the new institution until his dismissal.
