President of Uzbekistan arrives in Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana on the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on 9 September 2017.

Uzbek President was welcomed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin and other officials at Astana International Airport.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will participate in the First Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Science and Technology on 10 September and in the official closing ceremony of the International Specialized Exhibition EXPO-2017.

During his visit to Kazakhstan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations.
