President of Russia lays flowers to Independence and humanism monument

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev, accompanied by the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, visited the Mustaqillik (Independence) square in Tashkent.

Here he laid flowers to the Monument of Independence and Humanism, which is a symbol of freedom, bright future and noble aspirations.

The high-ranking guest gave a high evaluation to the construction works held at the country’s main square, UzA reported.
