Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The net profit of Uzum Bank in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 8.1 billion soums, which is 143.8% more than the same period in 2023.
It should be noted that Uzum Bank ended the first quarter of 2023 with a loss of 18.7 billion soums.
The bank’s interest income increased from 122.8 million to 4.39 billion soums. Non-interest income amounted to 65.7 billion soums, which is 8.4% more than the same period in 2023.
The bank’s loan portfolio reached 50 billion soums. The bank’s assets increased by 173.7% - to 627 billion soums.
At the end of the first quarter of 2024, Uzum Bank increased its capital to 423.2 billion soums, which is 235.3% higher compared to the same period in 2023.
Uzum Bank’s retained earnings increased by 122% and amounted to 58.2 billion soums.
