Interruptions in gas and heat supply observed in some districts of Tashkent - khokimiyat
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Due to a sharp drop in air temperature in some districts of Tashkent, there are interruptions in the supply of gas and heat. This was reported by the press service of the khokimiyat of the capital.
The khokimiyat noted that the public utilities are trying to distribute the available gas reserves evenly among all consumers, but resources are running out.
“In order to provide gas and heat to as many homes as possible, gas stations for all vehicles, except those serving public transport, are temporarily closed,” the khokimiyat said in the statement.
The city administration is working on solving problems 24 hours a day, and utilities are on high alert, the khokimiyat concluded.
Khududgaztaminot reported that at present, employees of the gas supply sector are taking all necessary measures to ensure the uninterrupted supply of natural gas to the population and social facilities.
“In this regard, in areas where there is a situation with a pressure drop in the main gas pipelines and there are problems with the supply of natural gas to local networks, changes are being made to the work schedules of CNG filling stations, previously approved by the regional khokimiyats,” the company said.
