Uzbekistan - Tajikistan: Prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of transport discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdusamat Muminov met with Deputy Minister of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan Saidmurodzoda Shoista, the information and analytical media center reports.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation in the transport sector. In particular, an exchange of views took place on the development of international cooperation in the automobile and railway spheres.

During the negotiations between the Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekiston Temir Yulari" H. Khasilov and the head of the State Unitary Enterprise "Rohi Ohani Tochizhikiston" K. Mirzoali, issues of development and further cooperation in the field of railway transport were considered.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a protocol on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of transport.
