According to the decree, the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan is the founder of a non-state higher educational and research institution.
The Academy will have a magistracy (two years), a basic doctorate (three years) and a doctorate (three years) programmes.
For education and research, the Academy will accept citizens of Uzbekistan and foreign countries on a contract-grant basis.
For independent researchers, it is planned to introduce opportunities for distance education and independent research.
The decree emphasized that the Academy will accept 16 students for a master’s degree programmes in the 2018-2019 school year.
After this, the quota will be determined by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, depending on the needs for scientific and pedagogical personnel.
