Uzbekistan team heads to Paralympic Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national team flied to the 15th Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro on 30 August 2016.

About 32 athletes from Uzbekistan will participate in the Paralympic Games. They will compete for medals in five sports – judo, athletics, swimming, shooting and power-lifting.

Some 12 athletes will compete in athletics – jewelling, shot put and running.
