London-2012: Sergey Lagutin finishes fifth

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of Uzbekistan Sergey Lagutin and Murodjon Holmuratov participated at the Men's Road Race competition in cycling tournament of London Games. The distance of the race was 250 km.

Sergey Lagutin finished the fifth with 5:46:05 time. Alexander Kristoff of Norway (third place) and Taylor Phinney of the USA (fourth place) recorded the same time as Lagutin.

Kazakhstan’s Aleksander Venokurov won the race and his time was eight seconds better than Lagutin’s. Murodjon Holmuratov did not cross the finish line.
