Plenary session of Senate of Uzbekistan takes place in Tashkent

The thirteenth plenary session of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan started in Tashkent on 12 December 2013.
Representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries and departments, as well as other organizations participated at the session of the Senate.
On the first day of the plenary session of the Senate, Senators considered nine issues, including five laws, which are directed at further deepening social-economic reforms, protect interest and rights of the citizens, including children and youth, protection of environment, as well as other important issues.
The thirteenth plenary session of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan will continue its work on 13 December 2013.
