Pipeline fire in kashkadarya region caused by gas leak

Ташкент, Узбекистан (UzDaily.uz) — A fire broke out on a pipeline in Kashkadarya region due to a gas leak, the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The incident occurred in  Nishan district on 21 August at 11:35 AM. The gas leak happened on a 426-millimeter diameter pipe located between wells at the "Shirinabad" field, owned by the company Epsilon.

The leak resulted in a fire, but fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
