Persimmon exports increases by 48,900 tonnes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In 11 months of 2020, Uzbekistan exported 88,900 tonnes of persimmons worth US$44.2 million. This indicator compared to the same period of last year increased by 48,900 tonnes or US$16.4 million.

According to the State Committee on Statistics, over the past 11 months, Uzbekistan has exported the largest amount of persimmons to the following countries:

Kazakhstan – 51,800 tonnes;

Russia – 29,000 tonnes;

Kyrgyz Republic – 2,900 tonnes;

Turkmenistan – 2,400 tonnes;

Ukraine – 1,800 tonnes;

Belarus – 800 tonnes. 

In 11 months of this year, Uzbekistan exported persimmons to 17 foreign countries.
